About Me
I am a post-graduate from the University of Louisville. I am currently working on a project under Dr. Benne Holwerda and plan to submit a new paper in the following months (as of 5/1/2025). I am still applying for graduate programs and I hope to be accepted into one within then next year or so.
I am particularly interested in galaxies and the dust inside them. I have explored two projects to acheive this goal. (1) That explores how dust content evolves over cosmic times and how it compares to modern simulations, and (2) classifying and cataloguing occulting pairs of galaxies that can be used to study various dust properties. Other research topics such as galaxy morphology also interest me!
An interesting fact about me is that I originally planned to be an Engineering major but ultimately switched majors at the last minute. I felt as though I wouldn't ultimately enjoy engineering, so I decided to switch to my backup major, physics, and I love every second of it (except the gen. ed classes).
My current hobby list is small, but I participate in many exciting activities, including astrophotography, graphic design, gaming, and helping others manage projects. I don't typically get out too much; I usually enjoy spending a lot of time alone, but I am working on improving that aspect of my life!
